The positives of dialectical Thinking
While reading about dialectical thinking this week, I realized all the times I have used it heavily in the past. I'm a very intuitive person and see the big picture in a lot of situations. I usually don't think just one way but instead look at different perspectives. I think people who are like me use a lot of dialectical thinking in everyday life. I personally think it's wise to find a middle ground on situations. By contrasting opposing views and then coming to a conclusion based on both views helps you grow as a person. The facts are important in every situation but you have to look at facts on both sides. I think that many schools in the United States are use to teaching only one way. Many teachers or professors are only use to one way of teaching. I have always admired professors that have given the approach of teaching by using dialectical thinking. I've learned most in those classes and it taught me to think of things in a different way.
