As a future educator, bullying is definitely a relevant topic for me and it sparked some thoughts as I was reading. The first was if there is an effective way to eliminate or reduce bullying? After all, bullying happens everywhere: at home, on the internet, and even under the watchful eyes of educators.
I have so many questions about bullying, but I fear that many of them cannot be answered.
Is it possible for schools to actually prevent or stop bullying? Many see it as a rite of passage, because kids are mean, but is that a reality?
Is making a classroom environment comfortable the most that a teacher can do to prevent bullying?
Why does bullying change forms as we grow into adults?
